An orange post is a way to separate out a professional / credible voice from your normal voice on the forum.
The concept actually comes from the World of Warcraft forums and blizzard employees using their own forums. They call them blue posts.
What it does is it allows for certain posts and replies to be themed differently to indicate that the person is speaking with their rank so-to-speak.
For example, this post right here should have an orange post theme, but if you take a look around at other places that I posted, it should just look normal.
Iâm not the only person that can do an orange post. I believe that everybody on this site right now has the level for leader and OG roll. You should also be able to make orange posts.
The color will be different depending on the role, such as admin, moderator, expert, whatever. But theyâre still called Orange Posts.
Please use the feature when you feel like it but also try not to abuse it. It should be considered the same as âputting your rank behind what youâre sayingâ.
