Is there a list of Tags somewhere? I don’t see too many in the pulldown. Is there a way for a user to create a tag, or is this something for Admin? If so, we can make some suggestions.
“Title Must be at least 8 characters” Why? Spam? OK, you’re gonna get it then!!
Haha. Here is the current list of tags, and now that I think about it- i’m going to pun this post here so that anyone can suggest tags to add. I kind of want to keep the ability to create tags down so we’re not drowning in 4,000 random unused tags in a year.
Maybe actually, I think I can limit it to level 4 people only (OGs / Veterans) and they can make tags. Hmm. I’ll get started on it. In the meantime, if there’s a new tag that needs to be added it should be posted here.
Or maybe you’d like to condense those into “GM V6” or GM 60-Degree V6" Your choice.
Another common project is turning a 2.8 into a 3.1, and with an overbore that becomes a 3.2. aka “3.2 Stroker”
And IDK if you want to consider this one, but it still seems pretty popular to do the “3.4 Swap”
And IIRC you dont have the X22SE 4-cylinder (Gen II Amigos, Rodeo Sports, IDK what else). Miserable engine, yes, but there were questions on the Planet about them, so might as well have the tag.
That’s all for now, maybe some more will lodge in my noggin…ed
Yeah, I’m messing with some of the features I’ve been working on implementing. It’ll probably go away and be replaced with “O.G.” momentarily.
There should be a button that appears in the bottom right of the composer after that that says ‘Orange post’. It’s basically a switch on / off for an official-type styling for posts. Only available to people with specific roles. The color will vary depending on the role, but regardless, we’re calling it an orange post.
Truth be told, most of the design and inspiration for functionality for this forum came from the World of Warcraft forums ran by blizzard inc. That’s because I play a lot of World of Warcraft and am very active there. This is the same forum software that they use and I’ve always liked it.
Anyways, they have a concept called a ‘blue post’.
